Happy Pride Month! CONNECT Summit County is working to provide mental health resources to EVERYONE in Summit County. If you are seeking mental health services that are LGBTQ+ inclusive, start with the list below. 

LGBTQQIP2SAA stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, queer, intersex, pansexual, two-spirit (2S), androgynous and asexual.  Click “see definitions” to learn more about each of these terms.

  • LGBT National Youth Talkline, 800-246-7743​​, Free and Confidential peer support for the LGBTQ and questioning community ages 25 and younger
  • Encircle – helping LGBTQ+ youth and young adults thrive
  • Utah Pride Center – Mental Health Resources page
  • Communities that Care Summit County – Youth prevention and self-care tips
  • NAMI Facts and Resources Page for LGBTQI+ individuals. NAMI Utah is their local chapter and includes programs for families of people with mental health issues
  • SAFEUT app – provides a way to connect to licensed counselors that are ready to listen to any sized crisis or concern
  • U of U Warm Line (801) 587-1055 [8am – 11pm]
  • The Trevor Project  866-488-7386, focuses on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. 
  • Share Well – for ANY virtual support group
  • Trans Lifeline – 877-565-8860, hotline run by and for trans people. You may request the “family and friends line,” to speak with a peer specialist
