Virtual Bookclub with the Park City Library

We have partnered with the Park City Library to bring you a Virtual Bookclub for Mental Health Awareness Month with 40 titles on everything from poetry memoirs to living with anxiety and depression, to finding hope. See our full reading list here.

Mental health matters for our kids and the Park City Library has recommended some great reads for young children, youth and teens. Some highlights include Today I Feel Silly & Other Moods That Make My Day, The Seventh Most Important Thing and The Teenager’s Guide to Life, the Universe, and Being Awesome. Zoom Your Way to Ending Stigma

Video conferencing services are becoming hugely popular, as they allow you to virtually meet with others when in-person conversations aren’t possible. For Zoom, this has led to the discovery of its virtual background feature. To help us end stigma and bring awareness to mental health in May, please consider downloading these backgrounds for your next conference call.  The process is simple:

  • Download the background of your choice (simply open and save). Better yet, download a few options, in case you want to switch them out.
  • After you sign into a Zoom call, look for an icon that says “Stop video” in the bottom left corner of the window. Click the arrow to the right side of it, and select “Choose a virtual background.”
  • Upload as many backgrounds as you’d like, and switch them whenever you please.
