CONNECT is privileged to join the Park City Film Series and the Park City Library to screen the documentary, The Mask You Live In, which follows boys and young men as they struggle to stay true to themselves while negotiating America’s narrow definition of masculinity.

Research shows that compared to girls, boys in the U.S. are more likely to be diagnosed with a behavior disorder, prescribed stimulant medications, fail out of school, binge drink, commit a violent crime, and/or take their own lives.

The film is free and open to the public.  We are pleased that the post-film panel discussion will include Kwamane Harris, Education Manager of Planned Parenthood Utah (Moderator); Chris Tittle, an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor with the Greater You who focuses on the treatment of adults, youth, and LGBT youth with mental health concerns; Nelvin Cecil Howell, Outreach Coordinator for the Kimball Arts Center and an Appalachian Trans-Queerfolk (in their own words), Transmale Artist; and a Teen Council member from Planned Parenthood of Utah.

We look forward to seeing you!
