David Sheff, author of the books, Beautiful Boy and Clean, and his son, Nic Sheff, author of the books, Tweak: Growing Up on Methamphetamines, and We All Fall Down: Living with Addition, are part of the Park City Institute’s December line-up. In Sheff’s book and in the film, Beautiful Boy, this father-son duo is changing the way America thinks about addiction.

Beautiful Boy documents what happened before and after Nic became addicted to meth. What were the warning signs? How did it impact the family? And how does David Sheff, an award-winning journalist, use his story-telling gifts to present this heartbreaking and inspiring story of survival, relapse, and recovery, and how their family has coped with addiction over many years?

On December 15, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., the Park City Institute presents David Sheff and Nic Sheff at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Center, 1750 Kearns Blvd, Park City, UT 84060 .
