CONNECT is pleased to announce a DAYTIME family & friends mental health support group for the parents, friends, and family of children and adults living with mental health challenges.
We welcome anyone who has been affected by the mental illness of a family member, friend, or a loved one. The meeting is free and the conversations are kept confidential and judgment free. Our facilitators have lived experience. We are here to listen and share our collective wisdom.The suggested age for participation is 18 and up, with parental discretion advised.
If you are living with a mental illness, we would like to direct you to NAMI’s Peer-to-Peer Support Groups held throughout Utah. These meetings are for adults with mental illness who are looking to better understand their condition and journey toward recovery. - Who: Parents, family and friends of someone affected by mental illness.
- When: 2nd Thursday of the month, 12 – 1:30 p.m. beginning Thursday, February 14, 2019.
- Where: Blair Education Center at Park City Hospital, 900 Round Valley Dr, Park City, UT 84060
- Cost: Free
- Bring Your Own Lunch if you would like, or feel free to purchase lunch at the cafeteria.
