Postpartum Wellness: Be Prepared for Whatever Turn Your Postpartum May Take | May 25th
May 25 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT
Join CONNECT as we partner with the Park City Library and mental health therapist Sarah Caldwell (CSW) of the Healing Group for a presentation to equip you with the knowledge and insights you might need to prepare you for whatever turn your postpartum may take. You will learn to identify the signs and symptoms of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders after childbirth, and learn how these emotions differ from the “baby blues.” You will learn how to create a postpartum wellness plan using the RESTORE model, which can be tailored to your unique needs and experience. To wrap up, we will discuss evidence-based interventions and where to find more information about pregnancy and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, including where to seek help. The Park Record published an informative article about this lecture here: http://www.parkrecord.com/entertainment/social-workers-presentation-will-clarify-postpartum-wellness-misconceptions/
